Feast Week

Histon and Impington Feast 27 June to 5 July

Feast Week 2026 runs from 27 June to 4 July. The Feast is promoting and participating in the amazing week of events which HI Friends are organising for celebrating the Recreation Ground Centenary. This overlaps with Feast Week and includes the popular Feast Market.

The Feast includes the following events:

  • Saturday 27 June: Orchard Breakfast and Green Spaces BioBlitz at the Orchard
  • Sunday 28 June: Feast Market on the Rec as part of the Centenary Family Fun Day
  • Friday 3 July: Under 5s Picnic, New School Road field
  • Friday 3 July: Moonlight Mandolins Concert, St Andrew’s Histon
  • Saturday 4 July: Model Railway, Royal British Legion
  • Saturday 4 July: Community Bingo evening, Royal British Legion
  • Sunday 5 July: Feast Cream Teas, hosted by Histon Girlguiding, Methodist Church

The Feast Magazine will be on sale soon. Feast Week is overwhelmingly about raising money for local causes and you can read all about these in the magazine. Beneficiaries from this year and last provide context for their work and funding applications. It’s a heartwarming read.

There is no Feast Festival on the High Street this year, but there will be one in 2027.

We are delighted to be nominated as a beneficiary of the Open Gardens fundraising this year, which helps enormously with the distribution of funds.

In our fast-moving digital world, we realise that time needs to be made to participate in community events, to support and promote the work of community organisations, to build relationships within our community and even to appreciate the power of a magazine to
raise funds, inform and entertain.

So we hope you can enjoy Feast Week events, and do buy a Feast Magazine if you can. The magazines will be sold door to door, and at the Post Office and Topiary Tree; also on the Green during Open Gardens.

Thank you in advance.
