
Applications are open for funding
The Histon & Impington Feast invite local groups, organisations, and charities to apply for funding from the monies raised through the generous support of the residents of Histon and Impington during Feast Week.
Applications must be received by 10pm on Wednesday 18 February 2026.

2025 Feast
In 2025, Histon and Impington Feast provided funding totalling £4,700 to the following local organisations:
- Histon Girl Guiding – Opening a second guide unit
- Histon Early Years Allotment and Forest School – Equipment to build/maintain the outdoor woodland and allotment at Histon Early Years Centre.
- HI Friends – Activities for the Histon and Impington Lunch Club for older people
- Panther Explorers Unit – Two event shelters with sides to use during outdoor events and as wet weather communal spaces during camping trips
- Histon and Impington Pump Track Charity – Operating costs of the charity. Printing costs and attendance fees for outreach events.
- Histon and Impington Brook Primary School – Outdoor play equipment
- Histon Hornets FC – Contribution to the 3G football facility at IVC
- Cambridgeshire Music – Contribution to the creation of a sensory garden
- HI Hub – Funding of ongoing costs to enable HI Hub to continue to deliver news articles and features each week relevant to Histon and Impington
- 1st Histon Scouts – 2 new dining shelters
2024 Feast
In 2024, Histon and Impington Feast raised nearly £5,000, including a generous donation from Open Gardens, despite a rain affected Feast Week. This meant that we were able to provide funding to the following local organisations:
- Camtrust – improvements and insulation of bike refurbishment workshops
- Hope Again Bereavement Support – contribution to running meetings
- Histon Cricket Club – electronic scoreboards and maintenance to score hut
- Histon & Impington Brook Primary School – a permanent outdoor play area for Early Years
- Histon & Impington Hedgehog Champions – equipment for making gardens hedgehog friendly
- 1st Histon Scout Group – canoes and trailer
- Histon Bowls Club – equipment and promotional material
- Cambridge Acorn Project – panoramic support for child victims of abuse and trauma
- Blue Smile – mental health support at Brook Primary School
- Histon Methodist Church – refurbishment of toilets
- Histon Howlers Junior Netball Club – establishment of a new Year 6 team
- Histon & Impington Bicycle Club – gazebo for club and community events
- Firs House Patient Participation Group – community health events
- Histon Scouts – establishment of Squirrels section for 4-6 year olds
Histon and Impington Feast Week is an annual celebration during which the villages raise money for the local community.
